Church Services
Ladies tend to wear dresses or skirts to church but nice slacks are also acceptable. Men usually wear Khaki pants and a fishing style shirt or lightweight polo shirt. T-shirts and shorts are usually avoided unless the service is not in the actual church (fully outdoor service-special locations). Men do not wear hats but women can wear wear a bandana. Safari type pants are usually acceptable for men and women.
Visiting
Church Member Homes
Men will wear collared shirts and slacks, not shorts. Women can wear wear slacks or skirts and a blouse or collared casual shirt. Shoes can be sandals, lightweight hiking shoes or tennis shoes. Sloppy weather may necessitate water tolerant shoes like Crocs, or sandals. Flip flops can also be acceptable if it seems appropriate for the weather or location.
MOSQUITOS - Travelers should be prepared for the country-side with long sleeve shirts and long safari type pants especially for the evenings when mosquito exposure is the highest. Mosquito spray is also recommended. Mosquito bite avoidance is wise as many tropical illnesses are carried via the bug bites.
Free Time
You may wear shorts and T-shirts, flip-flops and most comfortable clothing.
